DAN GUTMAN AUTHOR VISIT

Dan Gutman visited Franklin Elementary on Friday, February 2, 2018 due to an SEF grant.  He talked about his inspiration for the My Weird School series and shared with the students how he named the characters in this series and his first few book titles.  Dan then delighted the students by reading a chapter of the manuscript of his book that will be published in 10 days, Mrs. Newman Isn’t Human.  He then surprised the students and gave the manuscript to Mr. Slevins!
