On Thursday, May 19th, all the lost and found items that haven’t been claimed so far will be brought outside during dismissal for a last chance to be claimed before they are donated to the Junior League of Summit.  We will be located in the front lawn of the school from 3-3:30pm. Leveling the Playing Field, a non-profit organization that collects and distributes used sports equipment to children who can’t afford their own, is holding a USED/NEW Sports Equipment Drive on Saturday, May 21st from 8 am – 5 pm at Soldiers Memorial Field.  As a Summit Community Team, we can make this event a booming success and help get more children involved in sports who wouldn’t otherwise have the opportunity! leveling the playing field

Do you have a 3rd Grader that LOVES art? Then this is the choice for you! Ms. Bruns will offer art club as an optional activity for interested third graders during Friday lunch recess periods. We will meet in the art room at 11:30 where you will be invited to bring and eat your lunch.  After eating, we will participate in a teacher directed activity. Some projects might include drawing, crafts, painting, or 3D projects. We will  meet on 5/20, 5/27, 6/3, 6/10, 6/17. An announcement will be made as a reminder. Please sign up by Monday, May 16.
