Join SOCKTOBER at FRANKLIN… THIS WEEK!   1) MISFIT SOCK DAY – Friday, Oct. 23rd Join the national event!  Wear mismatched socks for the day to celebrate what makes you different and unique.  It’s a fun and visible way to take a stand against bullying! 2) SOCK DRIVE – Now through Fri, Oct 23rd  Donate new men’s socks for Bridges Outreach; spread kindness (and warm, dry feet!) to the homeless.  This small gesture can make a real difference to these individuals! Join the celebration!  Mark your calendar!  Talk to your kids!  This is a great conversation starter!  Please take a moment to discuss with your kids WHY we’re doing this and WHAT IT MEANS … how to be proud and accepting of differences … what gratitude means … how/why communities help those less fortunate.  Encourage them to read the attached page and get involved! It’s Not Too Late To Join – PTO Membership is at 67%!!! Thank you to the 169 families who have joined the PTO and have sent in their PTO Membership Dues. That means 65% of Franklin families have joined. We appreciate the support! To those of you who have not yet joined (we still have over 80 families), please join and support Franklin School as so many of these other families have done. Every little bit helps when it comes to supporting and enriching our children’s education.
