https://501auctions.com/franklinelementaryschool/item/31295 Franklin’s PTO is announcing a special online auction for two tickets to the 2015 Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade Grandstand in Herald Square!  The money raised from this auction will be used towards creating a colorful mural for Franklin’s main hall.  These tickets are generously being donated by Amalia Gomez. From the comfort of your seats, you’ll experience the magic and tradition that celebrates America and ushers in the holidays.  The Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade is a true New York experience that is loved by both children and adults! The opening bid for this auction is $200.  The value of the tickets  is priceless because they are not available for sale to the general public.  The auction is now open and will close at 9 p.m. on Sunday, November 8th.  Good luck!

Every year, the Summit Education Foundation asks an elementary school (on a rotating basis) to host their ONLY fundraiser of the year, the SEF Casino Night.  This year is Franklin’s turn.  Please come to an “open house” on Wednesday, October 28 at 7:30 pm, at the home of Clara Jenkins, to learn more about SEF, Casino Night, what is realistically involved, time-lines etc.  This is an information meeting only and you will not be asked to volunteer that evening (I promise!).  We know you will need some time to digest the information and then make an […]
