Classical Music 2.0 launched at Franklin School in September and is an expansion of the original SEF sponsored project funded last year.  Tchaikovsky at Tea Time will now be added to the beautiful sounds of Bach, Debussy and Mozart already playing in your child’s everyday classroom environment. We hope to present classical music in a positive and accessible way to our students while: promoting creativity and cognitive function; assisting teachers with classroom management; and creating a future generation of classical audiences. In addition to the new CD, the nurse and specialist teachers were provided with the three compact discs from last year:  Bach for Breakfast, Debussy for Daydreaming and Mozart for Your Mind.  All of these CD’s are available for purchase on Amazon (log into Amazon through www.franklinparents.com to earn money for the school).  You too can play Bach at breakfast or include Mozart in your homework routine! If you have questions about the program or would like more information on suggested uses for the CD’s please contact: Kate Polles at kpolles@summit.k12.nj.us or Susan Yarad at syarad@verizon.net
