Book Care Books are used by everyone in our school. It is expected that children take good care of the books they borrow from the library. Things to keep in mind include: reading books with clean and dry hands, turning pages slowly, and always using a bookmark. If a book is returned damaged it will need to be replaced and the family will be charged. Book Borrowing Each week children are allowed to take out up to three items from the library. Exceptions are made when children are working on special projects. Books are to be brought book every week for return and/ or renewal. Please help your child find a special place in your home to keep our books safe. It is your child’s responsibility to return or renew the books every week! If a child has misplaced his/her library book and is in the process of looking for it, please do not pay for the book right away until you have received a notice with instructions for payment.
