Looking Back at 2015-2016 Total Circulations: 29,080 Volunteers who help each week to check out  and shelve books: 16 amazing parents Opened The Space- a corner of the library where we can all create- established monthly challenges Morning Clubs: Decorate the Space, Getting to Know Ben Franklin, Make a Bookmark, Paper Challenges, Gardeners, Scratch, Lego Mindstorms, Tuesday Morning Group- Tweets, iMovie, Recycle Team Lunch Clubs: 2nd grade Book Club, 3rd Grade Book Club- twice, Interview Club, Postcard Club, iMovie, Scratch, Poetry Writing, Animal Research, Honoring Franklin Hosted 2 Author Visits: (Thanks to our very generous PTO) grades 1 and 2 Daniel Kirk, grades 3-5 Lauren Tarshis, SEF Grant Materials being used this year: Lego Mindstorms, Bee Bots, Playaways, Growing Station Hour of Code for the entire school Grades 1 and 2 participated in awarding the Irma Black Award for the best picture book Grades 3 and 4 participated in awarding the the Cook Prize which honors the best science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) picture book Coordinated the Dictionary Project with the New Providence- Summit Rotary Club for grade 3 Read Across America- helped organized guests from the community to come read to each class School Library Month Reading Challenge […]

Come train with the Summit High’s Varsity Boys Soccer Coaching Staff and Varsity Players! The Hilltopper Boys Soccer Camp is coordinated by Ashley Sularz (SHS Varsity Boys Soccer Coach), the HS Coaching staff, and the Summit High School Varsity Boys Soccer Team. Who: Boys entering 3rd-8th Grades When: Monday, August 29th through Wednesday, August 31st 5:30 pm – 7:30 pm Where: Wilson Fields, Corner of Oakley & Springfield (Behind the Primary Center / Board of Ed. offices) Cost: $100 for 3 days or $40 a day (All proceeds benefit the SHS Boys Soccer Program) SHS Boys Soccer Camp Form
