Dear Franklin Community, Just to update you on the Ms. Stochaj Read Across America Challenge 2016. This year we had 149 students and 17 adults (staff and parents) participate. I am hoping next year we can have even more participants. Working as a team one class had 100% participation. Congrats to 5W! In the corner of F.L.I.C. we have an area called ‘The Space.’ This is an area to create, build, and investigate monthly challenges. I have an idea for a challenge for the end of the year BUT I need your help. Please save egg cartons for us and send them in with your child. Thank you. So are you asking yourself why your child has 6 library books? It is because the Summit Free Public LIbrary is renovating the children’s section. I wanted to be sure your children had enough to read. Sincerely, Lorelei Stochaj, School Librarian
