A Note From The Principal

Our wonderful partnership with the PTO has been vital in creating and maintaining the unique and expansive learning environment at Franklin Elementary School. The PTO has provided immeasurable support in enhancing the educational experience for all of our students. The PTO has funded enriching activities such as school assemblies and field trips as well as supported larger projects that have significantly improved the school environment. These projects have included the creation of an outdoor classroom, the installation of a sunshade for the playground, and the beautification of the hallways through attractive, informative classroom signs and our student-created and artist-created murals. This is only the tip of the iceberg of all the amazing ways the PTO has supported our school. 

Beyond these contributions, our PTO has played a crucial role in supporting the needs of teachers and students directly. They often fund teacher grants which enables our educators to implement innovative and engaging classroom projects. The PTO goes above and beyond in showing their appreciation for our staff through holiday luncheons, Teacher Appreciation Week activities, and spiritwear gifts. We are grateful to our PTO for organizing class parties and social events to foster a positive and inclusive school community that strengthens the bonds between students, teachers, and families. In short, Franklin School would not be the special place it is without the invaluable contributions of our wonderful PTO. We could not be more grateful for such a gracious and generous partner on our educational journey!
