Multicultural Night

Franklin's 3rd Annual Multicultural Night will be held on Thursday (1/22) from 5:00 - 6:30 PM (NOTE THE TIME CHANGE FROM 6:00 - 7:30 PM).
We will provide tables and tablecloths, you share about your culture!
We will have Franklin families - students, parents and teachers - sharing unique features of their culture.
Families will go from "country" to "country" for these unique experiences and collect fun facts about each culture.

We are excited to announce that the Winter Enrichments will be starting in mid-January.
For a description and dates for each enrichment offered, click here.
Registration will open next Sunday, 1/11 at 7:00 PM. The link will be found in the Sunday PTO email blast.

You asked and we listened to your feedback!

We are going to be offering a few Winter Enrichments, starting in mid-January.
Enrichments will include: Chess, Bracelet Making, Stop Motion Animation, and Backgammon!

We hope those of you who attended the first "Screen Smart" parent session enjoyed the discussion with Detective Lt. Tom Rich, who provided extremely useful information about digital safety for our children.
There is another chance for you to participate in these all important conversation and learn from the experts. The next session will be on Thursday (1/29), and will feature Supervisory Senior Resident Agent, John Robertson.

The Franklin Holiday Shop, a beloved tradition, will be on Friday, 12/5!
A “store” full of gifts will be set up in the Franklin gym during the school day. Students will have the opportunity to shop for two holiday presents for their loved ones.
A SignUp Genius for parent volunteers will be in next Sunday’s PTO newsletter, and additional details can be found here.
The cost per student is $16 and includes two gifts. Payments can ONLY be made online via the Holiday Shop Store on MTK.
