Turkey Trot 2016 Fun Run/Walk

Location: Franklin School Soccer Field – weather permitting

Entrance Fee: A non-perishable food (please clearly place your name on it)

Franklin’s Annual “Turkey Trot” will be held on Friday 11/4/15 at 2:05 pm – weather permitting.  The purpose of this event is to promote healthy lifestyles, alleviate stress for students and teachers, and also do a good deed for our community.  Students, who wish to participate in the Turkey Trot, will bring in a non-perishable food beginning on November 1, 2016 as their “entrance fee”. Students should place their name on their donation and give their non-perishable food to their classroom teacher, who will check off the students’ name on the class list. The food collected will be donated to the Junior League of Summit and distributed to families in need over Thanksgiving.
