This is a reminder to please pick up your child’s medication currently held in the Health Office prior to the end of the school year. EpiPens and inhalers should remain in the health office and be picked up as close to the last day of school as possible. Schools are not permitted to give medication to students to carry home and the school is required by law to destroy any medication not claimed at the end of the school year. All remaining medication will be discarded by10 am on June 22nd.
Please note that new EpiPen and inhaler forms/doctor orders are required at the start of each school year. Please return completed paperwork to Franklin School PRIOR to the first day of school. EpiPen forms, medication administration forms and asthma treatment plans are located on the district website, www.summit.k12.nj.us under the “resources” tab.
