Congratulations to the Franklin Chess Club! Our top 10 chess players attended the Summit Elementary Chess Tournament held at Lincoln Hubbard last week. There were over 40 participants from 4 elementary schools.  Our students gave a great fight against the other schools and placed 3rd!

Tournament Results: 1st place Lincoln, 2nd place Washington, 3rd place Franklin, 4th place Brayton

Over all a great tournament experience!!!

Is your child interested in joining our chess club?  Our Grand Master Errol Singh will be offering chess lessons at the Library over the summer to get them prepared for next year!
