Halloween candy donations will be accepted at local Chatham dentist Dr. Atanase at Advanced Dentistry, 33 Main Street, Ste 101, Chatham NJ. Drop off candy on November 5th from 8:30 am – 5 pm.  (DO NOT SEND CANDY TO FRANKLIN) To help off set the cost of shipping $1-$5 shipping donations are appreciated.  All candy collected will be sent to Operation Gratitude. Please remember, while you’re in the school this week for conferences, to turn in your $50 activities fee (per child).  You may hand it directly to your child’s teacher, or drop it in the 5th Grade Activities Fee box in the front vestibule.  Be sure to include your name, your child’s name, and your child’s teacher with the payment.  Checks should be made payable to the Franklin PTO, and are due by November 21st.  Scholarship funds are available if needed; please speak to Ms. Mirrione should you want to take advantage of that option.

Hopefully your child has mentioned the interesting conversations generated by the visit of The Ethics Institute of Kent Place School.  Thank you to Mr. Lambert and Joyce Yao for collaborating with Kent Place to bring this program to Franklin.  There will be a follow-up parents session on November 20, so keep a look out for more information.
