Roll the Dice! SEF Casino Night

**Date changed to October 28th due to 1st grade Parent Social**

Do you love to throw a good party?  Are planning menus and decorations up your alley?  If so, let us know!  Do you have a child who has been able to take advantage of the Middle School iPad initiative or the High School Chrome Book initiative?  Has your child enjoyed the visits of authors Melissa Stewart and Patricia Polacco?  Have they come home excited about the classical music they have listened to in their classroom or mention how they have enjoyed the stability balls or rolling desks?  These grants were all funded by SEF.

Every year, the Summit Education Foundation asks an elementary school (on a rotating basis) to host their ONLY fundraiser of the year, the SEF Casino Night.  This year is Franklin’s turn.  Please come to an “open house” on Wednesday, October 28 at 7:30 pm, at the home of Clara Jenkins, to learn more about SEF, Casino Night, what is realistically involved, time-lines etc.  This is an information meeting only and you will not be asked to volunteer that evening (I promise!).  We know you will need some time to digest the information and then make an informed decision.  Please come and enjoy a glass of wine, some light hors d’oeuvres and see what you can do to help raise money for the Foundation that gives over 91% of money raised back to Summit Public Schools. This is a great opportunity for a group of friends or a couple of spouses to think about a way to participate!  Please rsvp to clarasjenkins229@gmail.com.
