CHANGE OF DATE: GENERAL PTO MEETING IS NOW THURSDAY, MAY 28th

Dear Parents,
Due to the recent resignation of Dr.Gil and the need to go through the a process of selecting a new Principal, we have decided to change the date of the General PTO Meeting to Thursday. We are doing this as the Interim Director of Human Resources and the Superintendent would like to come and talk with the parents about our concerns. Unfortunately they can not make the Wednesday meeting and as we don’t wish to have you come to the school twice, we feel that the move to Thursday is the best option. We will still have time to vote in the new board and to celebrate our volunteers.
We know that some of the first grade parents will not be able to attend (including two of the board members) as there is a trip to Fosterfields Farm on Thursday. We will take very good minutes and try to record the event if we can.
We hope that a lot of you will be able to make this meeting. It is an excellent opportunity to establish open lines of communication with the District and have a say in the future of Franklin.
